Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann (pronounced “kol-tus kyol-tori air-in” and translates to “a gathering of Irish musicians”) is an international organization based in Dublin, Ireland. Started in 1951, Comhaltas is a non-profit cultural organization and exists for the purpose of preserving and promoting traditional Irish arts, specifically music, singing, dance, and language, and to co-operate with all bodies working for the restoration of Irish culture. There are over 400 branches worldwide, from Argentina to Tokyo.

All Branches actively promote traditional Irish culture and arts through the lens of each branch’s founders, honorees, and members. Each branch is not only a reflection of Irish culture but also of its community and their devotion to the cause of preserving our Irish heritage and legacy, weaving it into the fabric of daily lives, for ourselves and our children.

We have had several inquires regarding the Hall of Fame.  We are following the model initiated by the Region for the Hall of Fame ceremonies held in Albany for many years.  The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 Saturday evening.  It will consist of dinner followed by the induction ceremony.  Reservations are required to enable an accurate dinner count.  The dinner will be a gourmet buffet with your choice of various selections.  The cost of the dinner is $25.00.  Each inductee, along with one guest, will be free of charge.  We ask that you kindly make your dinner reservation as soon as possible.
